As I mentioned in my last blog, I got a little off track lately. I wasn’t practicing everything that I preach, AND I started to see and experience the different “results” in my life.
I just got lazy about following my own advice. I kind of thought, “Oh, I’ve already ‘got’ this.”
But, it is like fishing, you may know how to fish. You may even be an expert fisherman, but you won’t catch your fish unless you do the work required to catch the fish.
All it takes to get back on track is to catch yourself and make some simple shifts.
Like that expert fisherman, you can do the work whenever you want the results.
I don’t know about you, but I think from here on out, I choose EVERY DAY!
If you find yourself a little out-of-whack, here are 7 reminders that can help you get back to where you want to be:
Be yourself.
You came into this life to be YOU. No one can do it better, and you sure can’t do a very good job copying someone else or trying to be what you THINK someone else wants you to be. Focus on what brings you joy.
Mind your own business.
What other people are doing or thinking is none of your business – even if their thinking involves how they think about you. Focus on what you are doing and especially what you are thinking.
Monitor your thoughts (your POWER is your power to CHOOSE your thoughts).
This is the greatest power in the universe – the power of your thoughts and the ability to DECIDE what you’ll focus your thought energy on. It may take some practice, but focus your thoughts on the things that please you – there’s ALWAYS something pleasing in every instant.
Stay positive.
Positivity is magnetic (so is negativity). When you are positive, you attract positive experiences, positive people, AND more positive thoughts… doesn’t that sound better than the flip-side?
Monitor your environment.
Be attentive to your environment, especially your thought environment. You thought environment includes the TV and movies you watch, the books and periodicals you read, the websites you visit, and the people you hang around. Choose an environment that matches what you’d like your life to be like.
BE the success you want to achieve.
The energy you project is what you get back, it is what people respond to. Imagine going to a consultation with a brain surgeon who seems wishy-washy about her skills and is not very confident that you really need brain surgery. Would you let her cut into your brain? It is like Olympic training for the person you’d like to be.
Buy yourself flowers,
(If you know me at ALL, you can’t be surprised by this bit of advice!!) Flowers are uplifting and beautiful. When you buy them for yourself, you signal the Universe that you care about being around things that are uplifting and beautiful, and more of them will appear. Plus, as you are noticing the beauty and upliftment of the flowers, you’ll be more practiced then to see it in the world around you.
Love and Success,

Thanks, Lisa! <3 Katherine.
Hi Katherine,
I fell off track last May. It’s one devil cicle I found myself in, thinking like: oh that piece of bread won’t heard me… Well it didn’t end with that piece…
However, my skin turned to be awfull again, I gained weight, and just felt low enery and miserable. So I made a list, of all bad things happened since I fell of the wagon. Then I did a 3 day cleanse which helped me to curb my cravings. Now here I’m: with almost perfect skin again, feeling my best.
Great, Jana! <3 Katherine.
Oh I like that “buy yourself flowers” part! And the rest of it is spot-on advice, too. Welcome back!
THANKS, Sue! As you know, the Path of the Entrepreneur is QUITE a journey!
