Happy Thanksgiving! (a.k.a. Law of Attraction Power Day)
Happy Thanksgiving!
This has truly got to be the greatest, bonanza day for the Law of Attraction.
Being in a place of thanks for all the bounty is a PERFECT power position when you wish to attract more of the good stuff.
So, give thanks.
Give thanks from the bottom of your heart.
Truly FEEL into the thankfulness.
Milk it.
Go around the table and share things you are thankful for.
Think about things you are thankful for as you go through your day.
What are you thankful for right now?
Well, your computer and your internet connection are working or your wouldn’t be reading this post – so you can start there!
There is SO MUCH to be thankful for in every millisecond – even then ones in which you may be choosing to focus on something icky.
Shift your focus.
There is ALWAYS MUCH to be thankful for.
So, Happy Thanksgiving.
Or, I could say: Happy Law of Attraction Power Day.

Ten Days of Thanksgiving
Day Ten: Thanksgiving
I am thankful for Thanksgiving.
I just love that there is an entire holiday dedicated to giving thanks.
Isn’t that cool!
I also love the food. I love spending a day in the kitchen preparing.
I love thinking about the menu in advance. I love pouring through magazines to see if there is an enticing-enough recipe to call me to depart from our family’s traditional menu.
This is a photo of my parents at our meal a couple years ago — our menu will be much the same this year!
This year: one new addition – celery root and parsnip to our mashed potatoes.
I love how much I already love the menu we have year after year and how even after going through all the magazines (because it is so fun to think about the options), I usually end up going back to the family favorites.
So, here’s our menu:
√ Turkey (cooked on the grill at my house and deep-fried at my parents’ house)
√ Dressing (or what many other people call “stuffing”) – one batch with oysters in it and one without
√ Mashed potatoes (this year with a little extra)
√ Sweet Potato Pudding (grated sweet potatoes with all sorts of yummies)
√ Cranberry Relish (fresh, NOT from a can – and we may even try to pick some of the cranberries — as we did in this photo!)
√ Cornbread
√ Green vegetable (this year: broccoli as selected by my son)
√ Pie for dessert (brought by a guest; so, flavor is up for grabs!)
Oh! And, this year we are having popcorn as an appetizer because my son heard at school that popcorn was a part of the First Thanksgiving.
So, it looks like we could be on to a new family tradition with the addition of the popcorn.
I am thankful for Thanksgiving.

Day Nine: Abundance
The story about Thanksgiving is that it began as a spontaneous celebration of the abundant bounty of the harvest.
A celebration of abundance!
VERY powerful place to attract more abundance.
And, abundance is largely a mindset choice.
(The other choice is: lack.)
I am thankful for all the abundance in my life:
√ Abundance of Love
√ Abundance of Fun
√ Abundance of time
√ Abundance of dancing
√ Abundance of music
√ Abundance of good times
√ Abundance of delicious food to eat
√ Abundance of sunshine streaming through my window
√ Abundance of money
√ Abundance of wood in my woodpile
√ Abundance of fires in my fireplace
√ Abundance of options
√ Abundance of opportunities
√ Abundance of beauty
Wow!
I could go on and on and on… It is so fun to think about all the abundances in my life.

Day Eight: The Fun of it All
I am thankful for FUN!!
Life is fun – or, it is supposed to be.
Is your life fun?
If so, YAY! Celebrate fun with me!
If not, ask yourself “why not?” You deserve to have a fun life. Take steps RIGHT NOW to make this minute more fun for you.
Fun comes in so many different forms.
For one, it comes in the form of all the things you are Thankful for.
I have mentioned music and technology and flowers – to name a few – in this series.
Music is super-fun for me. I had fun last night going out to hear some friends play live. Today, I may go out and sing myself. FUN!
I find it so much fun to play with technology. I just finished juggling items to be included on my FULL iTouch – which photos, which music, which apps. I found a great balance. FUN!
I love flowers and yesterday went to the best local florist and picked out the best blossoms in her store and have them in a big, beautiful vase that I’ve been moving around with me room-to-room wherever I go. Right now they are sitting on my desk. FUN!
I also love riding horses and sailing and playing with my son and eating and cooking great food, and I make sure to include all those things in my life regularly.
Sometimes we have to be vigilant to make sure we include fun in our lives. We can get so “busy.”
But, here’s the fun of it, once you practice that vigilance and make sure you schedule in and make room for the fun, it’ll start to be natural and pop in itself.
That’s the way the Law of Attraction works.
The more fun you have, the more fun you attract into your experience.
Now, that is FUN!
Law of Attraction Tip: include fun in your life EVERY, SINGLE day. Then, even the things you weren’t thinking of as the “fun” will start to be more fun.
Now, isn’t THAT fun!

Day Seven: Technology
Sometimes I am doing something that I take for granted like checking my e-mail and am suddenly BLOWN AWAY by the sheer AMAZINGNESS of what I am doing.
I mean, I don’t want to give away my age, but I can remember a time BEFORE e-mail.
It is hard to imagine that now… and that is just ONE totally awesome technology shift that has blessed my life.
Another: digital photography.
I’ve been a photographer at heart since I was a little girl. I had my own dark room when I was 12 or 13, and I even studied photography in Italy for a year.
But, that’s when I had to stop. I’m a redhead. I have sensitive skin – VERY sensitive.
Photo chemicals are HARSH poisons, and the two did not go well together. My skin got so bad (cracked and bleeding) that I couldn’t even bend my finger enough to focus my camera – so, I had to stop my photography for YEARS.
But, I began to watch this whole digital revolution with an eagle eye, and one day I decided that both the cameras and the printers were at a high enough quality, and I leapt back into photography in a BIG way.
I became a professional photographer.
Another: digital music.
Oh, man do I LOVE my iPods. I have several different kinds and use them in different ways. I love creating song lists. I love the portability and the flexibility.
I love being able to create and edit music on my computer.
It is all so WILD.
Videos.
Cell phones.
There’s so much FABULOUS technology in our lives.
YAY for it!
So, what else can you celebrate? What other technology makes YOUR life better?
The more you celebrate what you like and love in your life, the more of it you’ll get! (Law of Attraction, Baby!)
LOA Tip: find things to celebrate in your life every day (whether or not they are technological improvements).

Ten Days of Thanksgiving Day Six: Love and the Law of Attraction
Day Six: Love
I am thankful for love and for all the love in my life.
I am thankful for knowing that we are all love and that we all love each other unconditionally – even when things on the surface do not appear that way.
We are all angels in each others’ lives help each other along the path, helping draw us back into the experience of joy and love that is our natural state.
I love giving love.
I love receiving love.
I love remembering to be loving.
I have a poster in my kitchen that asks: “What is the most loving way?” I love when I remember to be guided by that question.
I love basking in the love of the Universe.
Love, since it is truly Who You Are, is one of those feelings that reflects when you are in the Power Zone of the Law of Attraction.
The more love you feel, the more you are truly yourself and thus the more powerful you are.
We are limitless in our power in love.
We are weak beyond description when we are not loving.
As John Lennon so succinctly said, “Love is the Answer” – The Answer really to ALL questions!
LOA Tip: Live Love. Live Lovingly. Love yourself. Love others. Love your life. Love this now. LOVE!

Day Five: Flowers
I am extremely thankful for flowers.
Flowers brighten up my life in so many ways.
I love to live as flowerfully as possible.
You may already know that I have created a whole system of healing around the powerful energy of flowers. Click here to learn more.
Flowers are beautiful.
Flowers, in their ephemeral nature, remind us of the power of NOW!
Flowers are healing.
Flowers make us happy (and yep, there’s scientific research to back that up!)
And, because of all the above, flowers are great allies in our use of the Law of Attraction.
Law of Attraction Tip: notice flowers. When you notice the flowers around you – whether they are fresh or silk or in artworks or stamped on your coffee mug – you are uplifted. And, the happier you are, the more fully you are in the Power Zone of the Law of Attraction.

Ten Days of Thanksgiving, Day Four: Music
Ten Days of Thanksgiving
Day Four: Music
I love music.
I am so incredibly thankful for all the music in my life.
I love everything about music.
I love listening to music. I love playing music. I love singing. I love learning new instruments. I love writing music. I love dancing to music. I love it ALL!
Music brings so much joy into my life and my home. We all love to play around here, and my son infuses music into everything he does. He always hums and skips and dances his way through each day. I just LOVE that.
I love the sound of music being practiced in my home.
And, I love all the people I have met through music – all the musicians and producers and appreciators and music biz execs and music biz attorneys.
I grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and we always had music going on.
Whenever we were with other people, someone would pull out an instrument, and people would start singing and toe-tapping and maybe even some dancing, too.
I was shocked when we moved away from Nashville to discover that not all communities are like that. So, I am truly blessed to have discovered the musical side of my little town. This place OOZES music.
My dad is coming to visit for Thanksgiving, and we are looking forward to jamming together. He’ll probably play the banjo, and I’ll sing and play a little guitar. My son will add percussion. Maybe we’ll throw in a little keyboard… who knows.
I appreciate all the music in my life – all aspects of it!
And, music and dancing lift me up into the Power Zone of the Law of Attraction. If I ever feel out-of-sorts, all I need to do is find a happy tune or twirl around, and I instantly feel better.
Law of Attraction Tip: figure out some music that always uplifts you and have it handy for when you are not-so-happy. When you realize you need a lift, pop that music on, and if dancing makes you feel better, then move around to it. The better you feel, the more powerful you are!

Day Three: Joy (a.k.a. Double Delight!)
Wow! When I think back, I was a VERY unhappy person for many, many years.
Then, I rediscovered joy.
I believe we are all born knowing that joy is where it is at, but somewhere along the way many of us lose our way and get stuck feeling anything but joyful.
My way back came when my son was born.
I had been seeking and asking for a better way to live my life, and I had not found it.
Then, my son was born, and I marveled at how much pure joy surged through his body when he was happy.
I could see the joy he felt at the simplest little thing like stretching his legs. YAY!! What JOY!!
And, I thought to myself, “Joy is possible.”
“If he can be joyful, why not me, too?!”
That was a life-transforming thought. And, from that moment, I began my journey back to having joy as my home-base.
I am soooo very, very thankful and grateful and appreciative that joy is now where it is at for me in my life.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t live in joyful bliss every moment (in fact, that’s another blog post, but I don’t think that’s what I want for myself.)
What I do want is to live mostly in joy or on the brink of joy, to feel thrilled and excited and blessed by life every, single day – and I pretty much do.
Learning about the Law of Attraction really dovetailed in there nicely for me because once you really learn about the LOA, you realize that Joy and Love and Awe are truly the POWER ZONE of attraction.
When you feel Joy or Love or Awe or anything similar, you attract what you want easily in your experience.
So, dig this: if you aim for joy and reach your target, you get:
√ JOY – and you become:
√ A magnet for all the things you find joyful
Pretty cool. It is the opposite of a Double-Jeopardy.
Instead, it is a Double-Dip! Double-Delicious… Double-Delight!
NICE!

Day Two: My Terrific, Radiant, Excellent Health
Last night I watched a movie that reminded me about some of my own journey that has not been so great and reminded me how far I have come. YAY!
I am super-grateful for my terrific, vibrant health.
Years ago (before I “discovered” the Law of Attraction), I was diagnosed with an incurable, degenerative disease.
It was diagnosed because I had basically no lubrication in my eyes and the little that was there was very low-quality; so, my eyes were dry and irritated all the time.
And, that was not all! Because they were so dry, my corneas ripped all the time. I ended up in the emergency room about four times a year over it, and it was extremely painful. Plus, I’d be out of commission (with a bandaged eye) for several days each time.
The doctors ran some tests, a LOT of tests.
They discovered that my immune system had identified my mucus-secreting glands as foreign bodies that should be destroyed and was doing just that.
No known cure.
And, a painful, awful future lie ahead as my mouth, eyes, and other parts would become dryer and dryer and dryer.
Pretty darned upsetting, I can tell you.
So, I learned to live with it for many years. I was the gal who always, I mean ALWAYS had eye drops and used them constantly.
Then, I discovered that there is a world of healing beyond medicine, that our world it truly energetic and vibrational and began shifting my vibration around the “problem,” and it is now gone.
I don’t even know if I have any eyedrops in my house. I definitely don’t have any in my purse or pocket (which I ALWAYS did before).
I haven’t had a ripped cornea in YEARS.
I have not even needed to go to the doctor in YEARS – much less the emergency room!
I still have an old vision board from the transitional time on my wall, and it proclaims: “I am so happy and grateful now that… my corneas are always health and intact!” (See image above — a little snippet from that old vision board.) Yes, I AM!!
And so it is!
So, I am also grateful for the transformation that understanding the world and my life and health from an energetic, vibrational perspective has given me.
YAY that!
